Ted King Rebrand

A freelance project rebrand for Ted King, an ex-professional cyclist, including personal logo design and brand identity, podcast cover, and sponsorship slide deck design.

This project began with some ideas from my client: navy & white, simplicity, bold colors, personality, versatility for web, print, and apparel design.

Heres where it went from there:

This is my final design as a podcast cover. My client wanted a bold, clean design that would rival other podcasts in the cycling genre on iTunes.

I chose to work with phosphate because of it’s bold, clean lines and vertical and horizontal integrity.

My client decided on these 4 designs as the final products. each of the elements (the crown and the bike) can be used as standalone elements in maintaining their personal brand.

Here are some of my preliminary sketches. I was inspired to create logos that were dynamic and fun, while still being refined.

My process involved many iterations with color scheme, layout, and graphic elements. Here is an example page of my sketchbook to better understand my design process.
